We're currently looking for an experienced AutoCAD Designer/Drafter to join our Engineering team. If you're technically driven, detail-oriented, and enjoy working on real-world products from concept through production, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role
As an AutoCAD Designer/Drafter, you'll play an integral role in designing and developing custom healthcare equipment and systems. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, and Project Management teams, you'll transform engineering concepts into detailed manufacturing drawings that ensure products are built accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing their designs become finished products while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do
  • Create, revise, and maintain detailed manufacturing and production drawings using AutoCAD
  • Develop mechanical layouts, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and installation documentation
  • Utilize Autodesk Inventor and/or SolidWorks to create and modify 3D models and assemblies
  • Interpret complex mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and engineering specifications
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Production, Purchasing, and Project Management to develop practical and manufacturable solutions
  • Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical documentation, and engineering change notices
  • Support prototype development, product enhancements, and custom engineering projects
  • Review designs for accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with company standards
  • Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing and design issues while recommending practical improvements
  • Maintain organized engineering files, revision histories, and drawing documentation

  • Strong professional experience using AutoCAD

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
