Job Description

Turner & Townsend Heery are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Aided Design (CAD) & BIM Designer to join our team.

The CAD / BIM Designer will create detailed design drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs. The CAD / BIM Designer will work closely with other members of the design team to produce accurate, high-quality designs that meet the needs of the project.

*100% on site requirement

Computer Aided Design (CAD) & BIM Designer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create detailed design drawings using CAD & Revit software.
  • Work with other members of the design team to ensure the accuracy of designs.
  • Evaluate existing designs and develop new and improved designs.
  • Provide technical support and advice to other members of the design team.
  • Troubleshoot design issues.
  • Ensure design drawings meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Maintain documentation of designs.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications

Computer Aided Design (CAD) & BIM Designer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in CAD & Revit design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
