Computer Aided Design (CAD) EngineerPosition OverviewIn this role as a Missile Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and/or modifying 3D missile models, assemblies, and detail drawings utilizing multiple design software packages concurrently.Key responsibilities of CAD Designer:- Research relevant component and technical related resources in support of project objectives - Provide design solutions while being mindful of form, fit, function and manufacturability - Apply industry best practices along with applicable standards - Maintain Technical Data Package, e.g. drawings, revision history, source references, etc. - Collaborate with Customers, Managers and other team members during model development- Coordinate with other modeling team disciplines to achieve design goals - Must be able to work independentlyRequired Knowledge and Skills:- Proficient using Siemens' NX 2022 design software- Proficient using PTC's Creo7.0 design software- Proficient using Dassault's Solid Works 2022 software- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite- Working knowledge of missile system design EDUCATION: Minimum requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 4+ years DoD related work experience in missile modeling.
