Job Description:
Overview:
This position provides experienced technical and office support for survey projects with complex deliverables while mentoring team members.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical survey tasks and mentor Survey Technician I and II team members.
  • Prepare advanced-level drawings, calculations, and exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform complex deed research and prepare detailed legal descriptions and plats.
  • Coordinate with field crews to ensure data alignment and project accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain databases of survey data with minimal supervision.
  • Process and refine field data into polished survey deliverables for client or internal use.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree, certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a survey technician role.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with MicroStation is a plus.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to handle complex projects and adapt to changing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed.
