Job description

Purpose & Scope:

The Rehabilitation Aide for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center performs initial charge entry and reconciliations. Responsible for the following: completing weekly inventory and ordering supplies as needed; transports patients, assists personnel with transferring patients/materials: assist therapist by setting up and cleaning treatment areas including setting patients up on modalities/exercise equipment per direction of therapists, performing assigned messenger duties, and other duties as assigned.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

One year of medical office experience is preferred.

Computer experience is required.

Certification/Licensure:

BLS certification is required.
