Job Description:
Under the leadership of the department director operations supervisor the Tech Aide functions in an ancillary capacity to enhance technical staff efficiency and productivity. The aide provides technical support related to daily operations and procedures in the Radiology/Emergency department. The Tech Aide takes direction from the technical staff, reporting ultimately to the appropriate supervisor.
Experience
Able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced stressful environment. Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing. Good understanding of body mechanics with regards to patient transfers and transporting. Basic computer skills. Previous work experience in a like environment highly preferred.
Education
High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field.
Licensure/Certifications
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required.
