POSITION
Clerical Aide
Position Type:
Temporary
Schedule: M-F, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, 1 hour lunch
Assignment Lenghth: Up to 6 months
DESCRIPTION
  • The Clerical Aide will provide support for the Fuel Operations and Underground Storage Tank (UST) program. Tasks and responsibilities are as follows:
    • Produce a variety of reports using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Use Fleet Maintenance Software System (M-5) database and other computer programs
    • Monitor and programs fuel access keys for City and contract personnel
    • Track fuel usage/deliveries and spending, and tracks contract expenditures with other vendors/consultants
    • Ensure fuel-related transactions are properly billed
    • Interface with interdepartmental staff, vendors, public and outside agencies in person or by telephone
    • Maintain central files consisting of reports, correspondence and various documents
    • Process invoices for payment
    • Assist Superintendent and other managers with reports on meters, fuel use, fuel spend or other fuel-related projects
