Your role at GEI.
The Web Developer is responsible for the development and design of database driven web applications, GIS based web applications, GIS mapping applications, and components for clients. The developer will design, develop, test, and deliver web sites, applications, and components. The developer will create web applications and components from the requirements analysis, through design, coding, and testing, to production. Adaptability and ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments while delivering quality work under tight deadlines are key attributes of the job.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Practical experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS and AJAX for web development
  • Proficient in some of the following: Java, JSP, ASP.NET, XML, and JSON
  • Knowledge of database including Oracle, Access, or SQL server
  • Experience in providing high quality deliverables on time
  • Self motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Major in computer-related field (computer science/engineering)
  • Able to work in person at the Sacramento office location. (in compliance with CA state COVID restrictions)
