JUNIOR Oracle Web Administrator
Location: Ogden, UT (Hill Air Force Base Area)
****Relocation Assistance Available**** Security Clearance: Interim or Active Secret Clearance Required Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Web Administrator to support a secure government program focused on modernizing legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrating services into a new AWS Cloud environment. This role will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing enterprise web environments, supporting WebLogic administration, and ensuring secure, high-availability web operations. Relocation assistance is available for candidates outside the Ogden, UT area. Responsibilities
• Create and maintain internal and external websites in collaboration with development teams
• Review web content, site functionality, links, and design to ensure timely updates and enhancements
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic server environments including domains, managed servers, and clusters
• Monitor and optimize WebLogic performance through JVM tuning, connection pool configuration, and troubleshooting
• Manage WebLogic security including LDAP authentication, SSL implementation, and role-based access controls
• Deploy and maintain J2EE applications with focus on high availability, load balancing, and failover support
• Implement and maintain security measures including firewalls and encryption protocols
• Manage web infrastructure including web servers, FTP services, and mail services
• Track and analyze website performance metrics and usage data
• Conduct usability testing and recommend site improvements based on findings
• Troubleshoot usability, performance, and outage issues alongside development teams
• Communicate planned maintenance, downtime, and issue resolution updates to users and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
• Support additional web and infrastructure administration duties as needed Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field with 2+ years of professional experience (Master’s or PhD may substitute for experience)
• Interim or Active Secret Clearance required
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification required Experience with:
• Oracle WebLogic administration
• Java and J2EE fundamentals
• Linux/Unix and Windows server environments
• JVM tuning and performance optimization
• HTTP, HTTPS, and TCP/IP protocols
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications
• Oracle WebLogic Server Administrator experience/certification
• CompTIA Linux+ certification
• CompTIA A+ certification
• CompTIA Network+ certification
