As a member of the Pre Dig Crew at Moon Valley Nurseries, you will play a vital role in the process of prepping jobsites for tree and plant installations for our customers. Your responsibilities will include digging holes, by hand with shovels, jackhammers, air chisels, etc., according to tree and or shrub specifications.ย  You will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional service and exceed customer expectations.

  • Responsible for cutting "digging" holes for trees and other plants according to landscape plans and specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness ofย work areas and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and complete projects on time.
  • Assist with loading and unloading plants, tools, equipment and any other equipment needed for the day's tasks, ensuring accurate counts and proper weight distribution.
  • Ensure the proper use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and any other necessary protective gear to maintain personal safety.
  • Understand and recognize the significance of Blue Stake/811 colors at job sites to prevent damage to underground utilities and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
  • Demonstrated availability to work any day of the week.
