Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation (DGOC) is an established owner and operator of producing conventional and unconventional natural gas & oil wells and midstream pipelines and compression stations concentrated in the Appalachian Basin in the United States. Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, our field operations are located throughout the Appalachian Basin in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In 2021, Diversified announced our expansion into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILIITES:
The Director of Land will report to the Vice President of Land Operations and manage, direct, and coordinate all aspects of land activities at the Division level. The Director of Land will also direct and oversee in-house land personnel and outside contractors in day-to-day land operations, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Special focus will be places on:
  • Assists in preparing, interpreting, negotiating, and securing all land related contracts and agreements
  • Works with the Land Administration Department on review and maintenance of land records to ensure operations and reporting requirements
  • Provides guidance and leadership to land, production, and accounting staff
  • Contributes to the strategic development course of division land operations
  • Works closely with Engineering, Drilling, and operations teams to meet company goals and execute on business plans
  • Ability to Manage in-house Land staff, Land Brokers, and Contractors on projects to meet company goals and initiatives
  • Knowledgeable with Joint Operating Agreements, Farm-ins & Farm-outs, and all other Oil & Gas related agreements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including land operations
  • Must be proficient in document, spreadsheet, database, and GIS software
  • Experienced with Enertia land and accounting systems a plus

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
