Key Responsibilities

  • Design innovative women's activewear across multiple categories including leggings, sports bras, tops, outerwear, shorts, and lifestyle essentials.
  • Research fashion, fitness, and cultural trends to develop fresh concepts aligned with the brand.
  • Create seasonal mood boards, color stories, fabric direction, and trend presentations.
  • Develop technical sketches, CADs, and detailed design packages for overseas manufacturing partners.
  • Collaborate with Product Development to source fabrics, trims, prints, and performance materials.
  • Participate in fittings by evaluating garment fit, function, and construction while providing clear feedback for revisions.
  • Review lab dips, strike-offs, prototypes, and production samples to ensure design intent and quality standards are maintained.
  • Partner with Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure collections align with customer demand and seasonal product strategies.
  • Maintain accurate design documentation and adhere to development calendars and production deadlines.
  • Contribute ideas that elevate innovation, performance, and style within the women's product line.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience designing women's apparel, preferably activewear or athleisure.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent technical sketching and garment construction knowledge.
  • Understanding of performance fabrics, compression materials, seamless construction, and activewear manufacturing.
  • Experience creating tech packs and communicating with overseas factories.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
