With customer service as our primary mission, we work closely with our valued customers within the Houston metro, surrounding areas, and across Texas to provide reliable compressed air systems and support for those who are not compressed air specialists.

Provide sales, service, and technical support for a defined sales territory. Develop new business through execution of territory sales strategies. Responsible for meeting sales and expense budget objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for achieving the sales budget for a defined territory and assigned customer base.
  • Manage and grow the business while maintaining expenses within budget.
  • Provide customers with engineering services and consultation including engineering of complete compressed air systems.
  • Coordinate with inside administrative, service and sales support staff in management of accounts including parts procurement, service, and maintenance to enhance aftermarket/parts sales and customer retention and loyalty - effectively manage all aspects of the buying cycle.
  • Assist in resolution of customer-initiated technical issues.
  • Drive regional, corporate account business strategies and introduce new product offerings.
  • Review assigned sales territory/accounts, and organize coverage to result in minimum wasted effort, and maximum face‑to‑face selling time and profit.
  • Provide business update to management as required.
  • Provides product, installation, and application training for end users.
  • Conducts product and technology seminars to educate customers.
  • Act as liaison between Advanced Compressed Air Solutions and its customer base.
  • When necessary, may be called upon to deliver product to the user.
  • Conforms to all Advanced Compressed Air Solutions Standard Operating Policies and Procedures.
  • Employee works under general direction and supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, accuracy and conformance with regular meetings and annual business plan.
  • Represents the organization in providing solutions associated with the sale and marketing of Advanced Compressed Air Solutions products.
  • Through previous performance, must have demonstrated superior Conceptual, Technical, People, and Organizational Skills plus a Strong Work Ethic.
  • Excellent interpersonal and selling skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Must have or be capable of developing strong technical knowledge of Advanced Compressed Air Solutions products.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, operations, engineering, and maintenance personnel.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process flow.
  • Ability to work under pressure and rapidly changing priorities.

This job operates in a professional environment typically on‑site at customer locations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, talk, or hear and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision. Ability to travel. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Exposure to high levels of heat or noise may occur while visiting the customer plant environment. Moderate noise (i.e.: manufacturing locations, computer printers, traffic) exists daily in the work environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full‑time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Daily travel by automobile is expected for this position. Occasional travel by plane for training.

Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in industrial sales and/or management
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • Technical knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Extensive land and air travel is required.
  • May be required from time to time to take and successfully complete customer‑directed drug and/or alcohol testing.
