To excel in Comprehensive Logistics, you need strong organizational, analytical, and supply chain management skills, often backed by a degree in logistics, business, or a related field. • Evaluate logistics data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and service reliability.
    • Conduct research on market capacity, pricing trends, and equipment availability to inform strategic transportation decisions.
    • Develop comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations for management regarding logistics performance and operational enhancements.
  • Operational Planning:
    • Design and coordinate transportation plans that align with customer supply chain objectives.
    • Determine optimal transportation approaches based on cost, service levels, equipment requirements, and market conditions.
    • Identify and recommend improvements to logistics workflows, processes, and vendor utilization.
  • Customer & Internal Consulting:
    • Act as a logistics advisor to customers on transportation best practices and supply chain efficiency.
    • Collaborate effectively with sales, operations leadership, and customers to develop long-term logistics strategies.
    • Present recommendations and operational insights to management and clients.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Assess transportation activities for compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and safety standards.
    • Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies related to carrier performance, capacity constraints, and service disruptions.

Decision-Making Authority: This role regularly exercises independent judgment on significant matters, including:

  • Transportation planning strategies.
  • Operational process improvements.
  • Vendor and carrier framework recommendations.
  • Supply chain optimization initiatives.
  • Risk mitigation approaches for transportation operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in transportation logistics, supply chain analysis, or operations planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to evaluate complex logistics scenarios and recommend strategic solutions.
  • Experience interpreting freight market trends and operational data.

    PREFER QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience advising customers on transportation strategy.
    • Knowledge of freight market dynamics and carrier operations.
    • Background in supply chain analytics or logistics optimization.

    WHAT WE OFFER:

    • Offering a competitive salary (based on experience).
    • Competitive salary plan.
    • Eligible for performance-based bonuses tied to operational improvements and strategic outcomes.
    • Benefits include PTO, Paid Holidays, medical, dental, and vision options (other elections available).
    • Company paid Life Insurance and Long-term disability
    • Company offers a 401(k) program with company match for eligible employees.
    • Opportunities for career advancement and continued professional development.
    • A dynamic, exciting, and mission-driven work environment.
