This position is entirely remote, offering significant flexibility in scheduling. You will be provided with advanced administrative and technological support, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care to your clients. The use of a comprehensive counseling platform will facilitate all client interactions, from video sessions to messaging, ensuring you have all the tools needed to succeed.

• Engage with clients through video chat sessions, providing individual support to enhance their mental health.
• Guide clients in exploring their emotions and experiences to foster deeper self-awareness and relational insights.
• Serve as a strong advocate for each client, helping them define personal goals and pathways to achieve them.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mental conditions and develop tailored treatment plans that align with a solution-based approach.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans while minimizing paperwork with our support services.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of stable, low-acuity adult clients who are carefully screened prior to booking services. This ensures that you will primarily engage with individuals who are proactive about seeking support for mild to moderate mental health concerns. We will align you with clients that match your specialty and demographic preferences to ensure a good fit and maximize therapeutic outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• You must hold a full, unrestricted license to practice independently in the state of New Jersey, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a sympathetic demeanor are essential for building rapport with clients.
• Proficiency with computer systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate client interactions seamlessly.

While not mandatory, prior experience in a counseling setting, particularly with telehealth services, will be viewed positively. A background in community mental health or working with diverse populations can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
