Compounding pharmacy interns are pharmacy students or recent graduates who work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to gain practical experience in the preparation of customized medications. Their role typically involves learning how to safely mix, measure, and prepare medications tailored to individual patient needs, which may not be met by commercially available products. These interns also assist with maintaining a sterile environment, following regulatory guidelines, and supporting pharmacists in daily operations.
