Job Description
Seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week hospital assignment providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a central inpatient pharmacy. The Pharmacist will verify medication orders, oversee technician workflow, prepare and review IV medications, support inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe and effective medication management. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license required
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required
Epic experience preferred
Experience verifying medication orders in an inpatient setting required
Experience with IV medications and sterile compounding preferred
Ability to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities in a central pharmacy required
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills required
Traveler must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
