Responsibilities:- Lead process improvement projects from concept through implementation, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and risks to achieve operational goals.
- Optimize PTFE compounding, extrusion, and related manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost performance.
- Analyze manufacturing data, identify trends, and use insights to drive process stability, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot production challenges, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HSE teams to execute cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma tools, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce scrap and downtime.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, automation solutions, and process innovations that enhance manufacturing performance and support future growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials, or related discipline).
- 5-8 years of manufacturing engineering or process engineering experience in a production environment.
- Proven project management experience leading process improvement, capital, automation, or operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong manufacturing background with hands-on experience optimizing production processes, equipment, and workflows.
- Highly data-driven with demonstrated experience using KPIs, SPC, DOE, process capability studies, and analytical problem-solving tools to make decisions.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, PFMEA, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results across multiple departments.
