Staff Pharmacist (New Graduates Accepted) - Evanston, WY

Job Type:
Full-Time | Onsite
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM-6:00 PM | Sat 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
No Sundays • No on-call • No night shifts


Job Summary:

Seeking a patient-focused Staff Pharmacist for a community/retail pharmacy setting. Open to new graduates and experienced pharmacists. Role includes prescription dispensing, patient counseling, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with healthcare providers, with training available in non-sterile compounding.

Located just 45 minutes from Park City and 1.5 hours from Salt Lake City, Evanston offers easy access to outdoor recreation, a lower cost of living, and the added financial benefit of no state income tax in Wyoming.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and safely

  • Counsel patients on medications and therapy management

  • Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare teams

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and staff

  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Support clinical, wellness, and pharmacy services

  • Participate in non-sterile compounding training as needed


Qualifications:
  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program

  • Active WY pharmacist license or willingness to obtain

  • New graduates welcome

  • Compounding experience preferred (not required)

  • Strong communication, accuracy, and multitasking skills


Licensure Flexibility:
  • Wyoming allows pharmacists to work up to 6 months under a temporary license while completing full licensure.


Compensation & Incentives:
  • Based on experience

  • Sign-on bonus: $10,000 - $15,000

  • Relocation assistance: Up to $3,000
