Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support the production of aerospace molds, tooling, and composite parts. This hands-on role involves composite laminating, vacuum bagging, mold preparation, bonding, and curing. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, good hand skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed work instructions and technical drawings.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform wet laminating and apply composite materials to molds.
  • Prepare molds, apply release agents, and perform vacuum bagging.
  • Complete bonding, potting, curing, and other composite manufacturing processes.
  • Operate hand and power tools, including drills, sanders, and grinders.
  • Read and follow drawings, work instructions, travelers, and inspection documents.
  • Cure composite parts using ovens, autoclaves, and presses while meeting quality and production standards.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Approximately 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, hand skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and design specifications.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet quality requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:  
  • Composite manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with laminating or vacuum bagging.
  • Aerospace, aviation, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with composite materials and manufacturing processes.
Schedule:
  • 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
Compensation:
  • $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
