Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in receiving., This position requires strong computer skills to manage inventory using Excel, careful attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a clean, organized warehouse environment. The role follows a consistent weekly schedule and involves handling materials and equipment safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming product, verifying quantities and inspecting items for accuracy and condition.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments of servers by accurately picking, packing, labeling, and staging orders according to established procedures.
  • Use computer systems, including Excel and Word, to maintain accurate inventory records, update stock levels, and track incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Perform inventory counts and cycle checks to ensure stock accuracy and promptly report discrepancies.
  • Handle materials safely, including loading, unloading, and moving servers and equipment using appropriate material handling methods and tools.
  • Follow OSHA 10 safety principles and all warehouse safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks such as organizing stock, maintaining clean and orderly work areas, and supporting mechanical or general assembly tasks as needed.
  • Operate or assist with forklift operations and other material handling equipment as required, following safety and operational guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping, receiving, and inventory targets.
  • Demonstrate consistent attention to detail to minimize errors in picking, packing, and inventory documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
  • Proficiency with computer applications, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word, for inventory tracking and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory records and order fulfillment.
  • Ability to perform general labor and material handling tasks in a warehouse environment.
  • Understanding of OSHA 10 safety practices and commitment to working safely.
  • Capability to work the required schedule of 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and every other Saturday.
  • Ability to wear and use composite toe shoes and other required personal protective equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in shipping and receiving servers or other technical equipment in a data center or similar environment.
  • Experience in construction, assembly, mechanical assembly, or mechanical work.
  • Experience with forklift operation and other material handling equipment.
  • Comfort working in a structured, process-driven warehouse setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Work Environment

Composite toe shoes are required as part of the dress code, along with any additional safety gear appropriate for a warehouse setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
