The Senior Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - PSM, leads the development and execution of compliance strategies for ammonia operations. This role involves monitoring regulatory changes, conducting compliance audits and PHA's, and advising leadership on compliance risks and opportunities. The position directs policy updates, oversees compliance training, and ensures ethical standards and legal requirements are being met. By fostering collaboration and continuous improvement, the role supports business objectives while maintaining integrity and accountability across operations. This leadership position is critical in driving compliance excellence and sustaining a culture of ethical conduct.
About the team:
The PSM team plays a critical role in supporting Walmart’s Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations by delivering expert guidance that ensures safe and compliant practices. This team leads efforts in monitoring regulations, developing policies, and addressing compliance challenges to uphold operational integrity. Members collaborate closely with leadership and business partners to implement effective strategies, provide training, and drive continuous improvement. The team fosters a culture of accountability and high performance, prioritizing clear communication, mentorship, and adherence to governance standards to support Walmart’s commitment to ethical and compliant business operations.
What you'll do:
  • Lead compliance and ethics initiatives in the PSM space by monitoring relevant laws, regulations, and policies, ensuring consistent application across the business.
  • Develop, update, and communicate policies and procedures in collaboration with leadership to address compliance gaps.
  • Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior leadership, driving informed decision-making and follow-up actions.
  • Manage legislative assessment strategies, forecasting regulatory trends, and evaluating business impacts to guide corporate responses.
  • Monitor compliance and perform facility PHA's and other evaluations.
  • Promote adherence to company ethics, values, and standards through training and effective communication.
