DEPARTMENT:Emissions Certification & Compliance 

LOCATION:Mahwah, NJ 

RECRUITMENT SALARY: $18/hour

Jaguar Land Rover North America's internship program is a great opportunity for college students entering their junior or senior year, or who are currently in a graduate school program, to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of the automotive industry! This is a great opportunity for personal growth and development from a business and learning perspective. 

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Compliance Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of emissions and fuel economy government reporting, including data analysis and forecasting. This internship offers an opportunity to work collaboratively within a corporate setting with experienced professionals, and to develop analytical skills and technical knowledge. If you have a passion for automotive products, and you enjoy applying your data analytical skills, this role will provide the exposure and experience needed to accelerate your career. 

Details of the program: 

  • The program is open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor's Degree program or a Graduate program 

  • The Internship runs from June 15, 2026 to May 21, 2027 

  • 25-29 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm) 

  • Hybrid Schedule available 

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

  • Assist with data analysis to support government reporting 

  • Support the emissions compliance team in tracking and compiling emissions performance data 

  • Conduct regulations research encompassing vehicle certification and compliance 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reporting obligations 

  • Assist with ad hoc data compilation and analysis to support internal stakeholders 

  • Assist with ad hoc compliance-related research to support requests from government agencies 

  • Perform other duties as required 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

  • The successful candidate must be enrolled in a business analytics/technical or related program for the 2026/27 school year (junior, senior, or graduate student) 

  • Utilize Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to compile and analyze data, and prepare reports 

  • Proficiency in Excel 

  • Natural problem solver with ability to adapt to change 

  • Personal Attributes: excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, team player, motivated to accomplish and succeed 

  • Preferred - knowledge of automotive technical principles
