Job Description
The Compliance & Risk Analyst (Audit and Exam Management) supports Achieve's businesses and shared services in managing audit, exam, and due diligence requests. The Analyst assesses requests and engages business partners to ensure requests are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner. This individual is responsible for supporting business partners as they fulfill the request by answering questions, engaging the third party (Examiners / Auditors), managing to the deadline, and reviewing the information provided by the business to ensure that it satisfies the request. In cases where potential gaps or deficiencies are identified, the Analyst will escalate items to business and compliance leaders for additional review. Key qualifications include the ability to effectively communicate, manage multiple small to medium projects simultaneously, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, summarize data and information for reports, and indirectly influence internal (including management) and external parties.
Qualifications
What you'll do:
  • Manages end-to-end process of audits, exams, and due diligence requests for Acheive businesses
  • Assists Management with response to reports of examination (ROE) from examiners
  • Serve as central point of contact for communication and any ad hoc requests with regulators or auditors
  • Monitor management's remediation's efforts of regulatory findings for timely completion
  • Contribute to internal reporting related to audits, examinations, and related findings
  • Identify risks and potential issues arising from interactions with regulators and escalate as appropriate
  • Monitor regulatory change alerts and related activities to ensure timely implementation of action plans

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree; 3-5 years of experience managing audits, exams or communicating with regulators
  • Knowledge and understanding of the full audit / exam engagement lifecycle and the role that the audit and exam management function plays in the end-to-end process
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate and manage interactions and communicate concepts to senior leaders, regulators, and auditors in both written and verbal forms
  • High degree of independent judgement and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, manage multiple engagements and meet tight deadlines
  • Project management, strong organization skills, attention to details and ability to manage assignments with limited oversight from manager
  • Self-starter, willing to take action without being asked
  • Good attention to detail; ability to produce quality work products with limited mistakes and discrepancies

  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
