POSITION SUMMARY:

The Bar Supervisor will supervise staff and all aspects of the bar including prep the bar for regular service and special events, maintain the bar during service while serving guests, and will be responsible for the restock and cleanup of the bar. We are looking for positive individuals to responsibly prepare beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) and serve our guests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Successfully supervise all aspects of Bar operations
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Bar Team Members
  • Oversee and maintain all product pricing and properly maintain the POS and online platforms with accurate pricing, discounts, and controls
  • Implement ordering processes that result in effective cash management
  • Meet with vendors and make recommendations on products
  • Communicate effectively with sales representatives and suppliers
  • Assist in preparation of the annual budget and setting sales goals
  • Generate and analyze daily and monthly financial & inventory reports against budget expectations
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages
  • Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks/drinks
  • Operate a cash register and balance a cash drawer
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Ensure bar and lounge areas are clean and well presented
  • Any additional tasks assigned by management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons
  • Ability to work individually or with others in a fast-paced work environment
  • One year of customer service experience with the general public preferred
  • Prior experience with bartending and food preferred
  • Must be available on weekends and nights as well as some weekdays
  • Must pass alcohol serving course within 60 days after hire
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Facility has intermittent noise
