Langan is seeking an Environmental Practice Leader for its growing national environmental practice. This individual will serve a key function in leading and expanding the practice's market reach, innovative solutions, and technical expertise in the NJ, PA and DE region and beyond. Langan's team is revered in the industry for their regulatory expertise, client advocacy, and providing advanced site remediation solutions on some of the industry's most exciting and complex remediation projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in growing clients and projects that achieve strategic business results in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative, and dynamic environment.
We're experiencing significant strategic growth in all aspects of our environmental practice, including PFAS, compliance, litigation, and beyond, and looking for an industry leader to continue growth in these spaces.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Build and develop client relationships and a pipeline of remediation business
  • Develop, lead and manage of a progressive regional and national environmental practice;
  • Build, maintain, and manage nationwide client relationships and projects;
  • Develop and provide consultation on complex remedial treatment options;
  • Provide leadership, coaching and supervision to remediation engineers and scientists, and oversight of remedial subcontractors;
  • Design and implement regulatory and remediation;
  • Bring/Develop key client relationships
  • Oversee multidiscipline projects and;
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of site remediation experience;
  • Bachelor's degree environmental, or chemical engineering;
  • LSRP, P.E., P.G. or other professional certification;
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop client relationships and a pipeline of remediation business;
  • Superior regulatory and technical knowledge paired with excellent analytical and critical thinking;
  • Industry-recognized expert/leader
  • PFAS experience a plus
  • Skilled in managing the business aspects of projects
  • Proven experience in leading and managing multi-discipline projects and remediation projects;
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and managerial skills, with the ability to engage team members both in-person and remotely;
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously, while maintaining quality and attention to detail;
  • Strong communication and report writing skills;
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment, and;
  • Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver's license in good standing.
