The EH&S Manager for the T45 Program manages the implementation and administration for site environmental, health and safety programs for compliance in accordance with Company, Federal, State, DOD and Naval Air Station Directives.

• Perform duties as Hazardous Waste Supervisor and Manager in all actions pertaining to hazardous waste dealing with the generation of waste storage, transport and disposal, to include the process of paperwork and filing reports with the Base to ensure "cradle to grave tracking" in each work center division.
• Perform duties as Hazardous Material Supervisor and Manager in all actions pertaining to hazardous material control including requisition approval, proper labeling, storage, and "cradle to grave tracking" (CRIMP) and shelf life inspection in each work center division.
• Responsible for providing, updating and maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SOS) in designated work areas.
• Manages all actions pertaining to general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to DOD, OSHA, contract, facilities, Company manuals and job
• Specific programs that are managed include, but are not limited to Respiratory Protection, Confined Space, Hazardous Communication, Specific Risk Chemicals, Electrical Safety and Lock out - Tag Out.
• Manages site environmental programs to include, but are not limited to, Environmental Management System (EMS), Storm Water Pollution Prevention, Hazardous Waste Minimization, Air Emissions, Wastewater Pollution Prevention and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC).
• Maintain close liaison with NAS Pensacola Public Works Environmental Office for all matters concerning environmental rules and

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years' experience in the management, administration or operation of a safety and occupational health program or experience in administrative work concerned with Environmental, Health and Safety activities, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of related program functions OR Associate's Degree plus 6 years' experience in the management, administration or operation of an Environmental, Health and Safety program or experience in administrative work concerned with safety and occupational health activities, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of related program functions OR High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 8 years'

• Experience in the management, administration or operation of an Environmental, Health and Safety program or experience in administrative work concerned with safety and occupational health activities, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of related program functions.
• Shall possess knowledge of the principles, standards and techniques of environmental, safety and occupational health management and have experience in planning, organizing, directing, operating and evaluating an EH&S program for an entire Site and shall have a comprehensive knowledge of EH&S as it relates to aircraft maintenance.
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience within the last four (4) years in the management, administration or operation of a hazardous ma'terial/ waste The experience shall include receiving, storage, distribution, handling, and disposal of all types of material that may be utilized at the job site.
• Must have a valid state operator's license and be able to pass the government licensing requirements.
• Some travel will be required.
• Must be able to work weekends, other shifts and overtime as needed
• Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and site management

• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) CAC (Commons Access Card)
