The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Environmental Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated environmental remediation transactional and litigation matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned practitioner who values environmental law client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to environmental remediation ISRA compliance and regulatory matters
  • Draft pleadings motions briefs transactional documents and related environmental litigation materials with accuracy and efficiency
  • Represent clients in hearings administrative proceedings mediations and other environmental matters including Superfund and hazardous waste site remediations
  • Manage an assigned caseload independently while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex environmental matters for real estate developers property owners remediating parties and public entities


Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA-approved law school with an active New Jersey license in good standing and currently handling NJ cases (New York Bar admission a plus)
  • 3+ years of environmental law experience with demonstrated expertise in environmental remediation transactional and litigation matters including ISRA compliance and LSRP/DEP approval processes
  • Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms case management systems and electronic document platforms preferred
