Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Director, Environmental Industrial Salesperson to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for driving sales of environmental services and solutions, focusing on the identification and characterization of hazardous and non-hazardous waste across a range of industrial sectors and sustainable/recycle solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental sales, a proven track record of achieving sales goals, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Development: Proactively develop and execute sales strategies to identify new business opportunities in the environmental industry, specifically targeting clients with hazardous and non-hazardous waste management needs.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients while identifying new prospects to expand the client base. Provide tailored solutions to meet client waste management requirements.
• Waste Identification & Characterization: Utilize knowledge and expertise to assess and identify hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams. Provide guidance to clients on the proper handling, disposal, and recycling of waste in compliance with State and Federal environmental regulations.
• Leadership Acumen: Must have led sales teams with a proven track record of scaling sales in growth. Manage a team of salespeople while establishing expectations, sales goals, managing CRM, and communicating with company executive staff. EOS experience is desirable. Must lead by example in a high paced environment.
• Sales Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and post-sale service.
• Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, environmental regulations, market trends, and emerging technologies in the waste management and industrial sectors to remain competitive in the market.
• Travel: Travel approximately 30%-40% of the time to meet clients, conduct site visits, and participate in industry events and conferences.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including operations, environmental compliance, and logistics to ensure that all sales commitments are met efficiently and effectively.
• Site Visit/Waste Staging: Conduct site visits in industrial, oil field, laboratories, spill sites, storage areas. Must be able to perform in every environmental element while donning PPE and following safety protocols for extended periods of time.
• Agility: Must be able to walk over treacherous and unstable terrain, climb ladders, and walk on cat walks without fear of heights.
• Sales Development: Proactively develop and execute sales strategies to identify new business opportunities in the environmental industry, specifically targeting clients with hazardous and non-hazardous waste management needs.
