Job description
You will serve as a Environmental Protection Specialist in the Navy Installation Command of PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.Education:Employment Type: OTHER
- Experience applying skills in the analysis, development, implementation, and management of complex environmental protection projects and programs for installations within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command. Proven ability to improve and modify existing environmental systems.
- Experience applying extensive knowledge of environmental protection principles to solve complex problems by modifying established methods and revising standard procedures to improve environmental management processes and systems.
- Experience utilizing comprehensive knowledge of the environmental protection laws, regulations, licensing/permit requirements, and precedent decisions that govern environmental operations.
