POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/ADMISSIONS CRITERIA:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program

  • Active PT licensure in current state of practice,prior to Residency start date

  • Employed as a Full-time Therapist for at least 3 months by Ivy Rehab Network, prior to the program start date.

  • Required membership in associated professional organization by the start of the residency

  • Commitment to successfully completing all program requirements including independent study

  • Commitment totakingthe ABPTS Pediatric Certified Specialist (PCS) examat earliest eligibility

  • Commitment to a minimum of two years of continued employment at Ivy Rehab, post-graduation from program

PROGRAMREQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of all required didactic modules (300+ hours)

  • Completion of all assessments,logsand forms

  • Passing of all required quizzes

  • Satisfactory completion of required presentations

  • Optional completion of case report abstract

  • Completion of Residency Special Project

  • Completion of100mentor hours

  • Complete a minimum of 1,500 patient care hours during residency year

  • Attendance and participation in all scheduled residency education events

  • Satisfactory achievement of all resident core competencies

FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS:

  • Program Tuition: $4,500

  • This can be paid in full -or- over a 1- or 2- year payment plan through paycheck deductions

  • As a full-time employee of Ivy Rehabfor Kids, each program participant willmaintaintheir salarycommensuratewith hours worked/week andmaintaintheir benefits during the length of the program

  • 2-year employment commitment post-graduation to satisfy the financial investment Ivy contributes to each participant
