POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/ADMISSIONS CRITERIA:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
Active PT licensure in current state of practice,prior to Residency start date
Employed as a Full-time Therapist for at least 3 months by Ivy Rehab Network, prior to the program start date.
Required membership in associated professional organization by the start of the residency
Commitment to successfully completing all program requirements including independent study
Commitment totakingthe ABPTS Pediatric Certified Specialist (PCS) examat earliest eligibility
Commitment to a minimum of two years of continued employment at Ivy Rehab, post-graduation from program
PROGRAMREQUIREMENTS:
Completion of all required didactic modules (300+ hours)
Completion of all assessments,logsand forms
Passing of all required quizzes
Satisfactory completion of required presentations
Optional completion of case report abstract
Completion of Residency Special Project
Completion of100mentor hours
Complete a minimum of 1,500 patient care hours during residency year
Attendance and participation in all scheduled residency education events
Satisfactory achievement of all resident core competencies
FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS:
Program Tuition: $4,500
This can be paid in full -or- over a 1- or 2- year payment plan through paycheck deductions
As a full-time employee of Ivy Rehabfor Kids, each program participant willmaintaintheir salarycommensuratewith hours worked/week andmaintaintheir benefits during the length of the program
2-year employment commitment post-graduation to satisfy the financial investment Ivy contributes to each participant
