The selected candidate through the use primarily of a staple and clip gun, must safely preform the springing position to meet all quality and productivity standards of the position to meet daily line expectations.


The Springer (Weekday) position ise located in Booneville, MS.


You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will.... 

  • Practice safe work practices and demonstrate safe work habits to the workforce and adhere to the Personal Protective Equipment standards of the company throughout the facility.
  • Adhere to the policies of Williams-Sonoma while performing any duties as assigned with a positive attitude and willing spirit to assist others in the department, facility, and the organization. Always acting with professional courtesy and the highest integrity.
  • Use a staple and clip gun to perform all duties of the springing position safely.  Use of a frame gun and upholstery gun may also be necessary.
  • Complete the springing job attaching all necessary component parts to assembled frames assuring they are correct per the quality standards of Sutter Street Manufacturing using a staple gun, clip gun, frame gun, scissors, and a hammer (other tools may be needed) per Sutter Street's upholstery Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Spring pieces of furniture that meets the expected quality requirements of Sutter Street Manufacturing at a sufficient pace to meet or exceed the stated productivity requirements of a minimum of 6 pieces per hour with a goal of 8 pieces per hour.


Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates....

  • At least 1 year of springing experience in production of upper-end upholstered furniture. 
    Needs to be able to pay attention to detail, can work with their hands, and have experience in reading and understanding production tickets.
    Ability to interpret simple instructions commonly placed in a production manual and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
    Must have good communication skills both oral and written as well as the ability to read, write, and understand English.
    Demonstrate the ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
    Excellent time-management skills including ability to work independently with little supervision.

We prefer some of these qualities as well.... 

  •  High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  •  At least 3 years' springing experience in an upper-end upholstery manufacturing environment.
  •  Ability to speak English and understand Spanish.

Review these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role....

  • Ability to frequently lift frames weighing 50 - 60lbs.
  • Ability to sit or stand for 10-hour periods and bend and twist at waist and knees as required to upholster furniture.
  • Ability to bend and twist as required to assemble springs to frames.
