Verber Family Dentistry deeply values the role of our Expanded Function Dental Assistants. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort.
Take radiographs for diagnostics.
Set up and maintain treatment rooms.
Review and update patient dental records.
Assist with placing and contouring fillings.
Support in placing sealants and restorations.
Able to complete coronal polishing, fluoride applications, and oral hygiene education.
Sterilize equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients

Salary Range

Full-time $23 - $28 per hour

  • Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
  • Experienced Dental Assistant (2+ years)

What You'll Bring (Minimum Requirements):
Active EFDA license for Pennsylvania (Or expected in the next 3 months)
CPR certification (in-house training available)
PA X-Ray License
Strong communication skills to foster team spirit and ease patient concerns
Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control procedures
