Job description

Salary:

Children's Dentistry for Alabama is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Hygienist in our Tuscaloosa office. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and have a positive experience at our practice. You will work closely with our dental team to provide support and assistance in all aspects of patient care.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensed dental hygienist in the state of Alabama
  • Current with Alabama Dental Hygiene Continuing Education hours
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform required dental procedures
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to patient care
  • Desire to serve children in the community through healthcare


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with taking dental radiographs
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, sterilization, and infection control
  • Infiltration License


Responsibilities:

  • Complete dental hygiene procedures and accurately identify needs of patients
  • Assist dental professionals in providing high-quality dental care to patients
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment as needed
  • Assist with taking dental x-rays
  • Maintain accurate patient records and effective communication with patients
