Case Management and Support Services
  • Serves as the primary case manager for individuals involved in matters addressed by the Office of Title IX and Civil Rights.
  • Conducts intake meetings with complainants, respondents, witnesses, and other affected parties.
  • Explains University policies, procedures, rights, options, available resources, and resolution processes.
  • Coordinates supportive measures and related accommodations as appropriate.
  • Maintains regular communication with involved parties throughout the resolution process.
  • Monitors implementation of supportive measures, no-contact directives, and other interim actions.
  • Makes referrals to campus and community resources.
  • Documents interactions and maintains accurate records within the case management system.

Case Coordination and Compliance Support
  • Coordinates meetings, hearings, alternative resolution processes, and other case-related activities.
  • Monitors deadlines and ensures timely progression of cases in collaboration with leadership.
  • Prepares correspondence, notices, and case-related documentation.
  • Maintains confidential records and assists with compliance-related recordkeeping requirements.
  • Assists with data collection, reporting, audits, assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Participates in implementation of institutional responses to reports involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, sexual misconduct, stalking, dating violence, and domestic violence.
  • Collaborates and maintains effective relationships with campus partners to support compliance efforts and coordinated responses.

Education, Outreach, and Prevention
  • Participates in development and delivery of educational programs related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, sexual misconduct, interpersonal violence, and civil rights compliance.
  • Participates in training initiatives for students, faculty, staff, and campus partners.
  • Assists with development of educational materials, resource guides, website content, and outreach materials.
  • Supports prevention and awareness initiatives designed to increase understanding of reporting options, available resources, and institutional policies.

Investigative Coordination
  • Assists investigators with complaint investigations responsibilities as assigned.
  • Conducts interviews, gathers information, reviews documentation, and prepares investigative materials.
  • Provides administrative coordination for evidence organization, investigative records, and hearing and resolution processes.

Policy-Making and Interpretation
  • Provides information regarding University policies, procedures, and complaint resolution processes.
  • Assists in interpreting and applying established policies and procedures and refers complex policy questions to appropriate Office personnel.

Program Direction and Development
  • Assists with implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of case management practices, educational initiatives, outreach activities, and compliance-support functions.
  • Provides feedback regarding operational processes and opportunities to improve service delivery and efficiency.

Marginal Functions
  • Serves on University committees, task forces, and workgroups as assigned.
  • Attends professional development programs, conferences, and training opportunities.
  • Assists with emergency response activities and other duties as assigned in support of the Office and University mission.

Supervision Exercised
May provide guidance, training, and work coordination to student employees, interns, graduate assistants, or temporary personnel as assigned. Does not exercise direct supervisory authority over full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
Master's or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.

The holder of this position is designated as a "Responsible Employee" pursuant to their role under Title IX. Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University's Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator
This position has been designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). This position has been designated as a CSA because it involves significant responsibility for student and campus activities and/or responsibility for campus security. As such, any person in this position must report to the University Police Department a crime or an incident that might be a crime that he/she becomes aware of. This position has a reporting requirement because the University believes that responsibility for students, campus activities and/or campus security will make the holder of this position someone members of the University community will see as an authority figure and someone to whom they can seek help. A CSA is not expected to investigate or determine whether a criminal incident actually took place. A CSA ' s responsibility is a duty to report. All positions designated as CSAs are required to complete an online or in - person training session.
