Position Summary:

NUERA Logistics is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative with freight brokerage and logistics experience to coordinate and manage transportation services, including full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), cross-border, and local deliveries. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, and shipment coordination, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and transportation partners. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated to support the growth of our U.S. operations and domestic customer base.

Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate and dispatch freight, including FTL and LTL shipments, across domestic and cross-border lanes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and transportation partners
  • Source trucking capacity and negotiate competitive rates to ensure loads are covered
  • Provide timely spot quotes and respond to customer inquiries
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding shipment status, updates, and future needs
  • Track shipments from pickup through delivery to ensure on-time performanceMonitor loads in transit and communicate with dispatchers and drivers as needed
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and data entry in transportation systems
  • Promptly identify and communicate any delays or service issues to customers and management
  • Support RFQs, bids, and pricing submissions
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local regulations
  • Meet customer service, on-time delivery, and cost-efficiency targets
  • Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Collaborate with management to resolve operational issues
  • Provide input on process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required:
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service within the logistics or transportation industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with multi-state geography
  • Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred:
  • 2–3 years of freight brokerage or dispatching experience
  • Experience using transportation management systems (e.g., CargoWise)
  • Experience working with load boards (e.g., Revenova)
  • Background in a high-volume or fast-paced sales environment
  • Climate-controlled office environment
  • Primarily desk/computer-based work
