This Senior Product Manager role sits at the heart ofLitera'sCollaboration & Publishingportfolio,andwillplay a critical role in expandingLitera'sfootprint infocused on solutions that enable secureand collaborative document handling via email, data protection and PDF-based workflowsacrossnew customer segments and global markets.The position can be based in ourToronto office, following our hybrid working model ofthree days per week in the office.

Role Overview

As aSenior Product Managerwithin theCollaboration & Publishingportfolio, you will own a set of products thatoperateat the intersection ofrisk, compliance, collaboration, and productivity-areas where legal organizations invest when value, trust, and scale are clear.

Your portfolio includes solutions that:

  • Enablesecure collaborationand external document sharing

  • Protect sensitive information throughmetadata management and data loss prevention

  • Provideendtoend PDF management, including creation, editing, redaction, binder assembly, anddocumenLitetsecurity

Your mandate is notincrementalimprovement. You are accountable forgrowing this portfolioby:

  • Expanding intonew customer segmentsbeyond traditional large law firms

  • Driving adoption innew geographic regions

  • Strengtheningcompetitive differentiationin increasingly commoditized markets

  • Identifyand prioritizenew customer segmentswhere secure collaboration, document protection, and PDF workflows deliver differentiated value

  • Defineregionspecific growth strategies, accounting for regulatory, workflow, and buyer differences

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to adaptpositioning, packaging, and value narrativesby segment and geography

  • Drive roadmap decisions that supportscalable growth, not just existing customer satisfaction

Core Product Focus

You will own strategy and execution acrossLitera'sCollaboration & Publishingportfolio, including:

  • Secure collaboration and documentsharing workflows

  • Metadata detection, removal, and data loss prevention capabilities

  • Endtoend PDF workflows: creation, editing, redaction, binder assembly, and security

  • Integration of these capabilities into broaderLiteraworkflows and customer environments

AI is a core lever in this role-applied pragmatically to reduce risk, improve accuracy, accelerate workflows, and increase user confidence at scale.You willwork across the full product management stackensuring deep understanding of:

The Customer- Clearlyarticulatingwho our customers are and the problems they face in their workflow.You'llengage directly with customers to learn about their needs and concerns.You'llpresent and gather feedback on the roadmap.You'reskilled at synthesizing, understanding, and tracking customer data anduseit to help prioritize engineering efforts.

The Competition- Be the expert on what the competition is doing as well as where the market is heading from atrendsperspective.You'llbe responsible fora deep understanding of how we differentiate, but not just for difference's sake, but to support our position in the market.

The Requirements-You'lldefine engineering efforts by authoring Epics and Stories that clearly define WHO the feature or experience is for, written in the user voice and WHY this effort is valuable. Clear prioritization is critical with a rolling monthly updated roadmapmodifiedand refreshed based on the latest data and customer information.

The Story, The Vision- Everyone from engineering, QA, user experience,marketingand customer facing teams need to know what storywe'retrying to tell with the workwe'redoing. Not the "What" but the "Why" itmatters. A coherent vision told as a story in theuservoice is critical for aligning all disciplines to the same goal.

TheRoadmap- What is coming next? When is it coming?You'lldrive the beating heart of the Product Development organization.You'lladjust the prioritization based on customer data, engineering teamstatusand latest strategic priorities.You'llbalance short term tactical delivery-focused monthly releases with longer term strategic approaches towinning inthe market. This role will have a specific focus on Kira's path forward as AI technologies continue to advance.

The User Experience-You'llpartner with theLiteraDesign team to ensure the user experience is a first-class citizen in our product development efforts. While the Product Manager does not own the design direction in isolation, they must be passionate about the end user experience and advocate for the various personas.

The End-To-End-Your job is to shepherd the development of the product and to enable the Go-To-Marketteamssothey'rearmed to tell the right story and can support our customers with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Growth

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for the Collaboration & Publishing portfolio, aligned to regional and segment growth goals

  • Identifyand prioritize opportunities that unlock new revenue streams and markets

  • Make tradeoffs based on commercial impact, customer value, and scalability

Adoption & Revenue Impact

  • Treat adoption, retention, and expansion as core product outcomes

  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to understand buying behavior across segments and regions

  • Define and track success metrics tied to usage, growth, and revenue impact

AIEnabled Modernization

  • Lead the application of AI to improve secure collaboration and document publishing workflows

  • Ensure AI capabilities are trustworthy, explainable, andappropriate forsensitive legal content

  • Use AI to scale value across regions and customer types

GotoMarket Enablement

  • Shape positioning, packaging, and messaging to support expansion

  • Equip GTM teams to sell outcomes, not features

  • Inform pricing and packaging decisions based on delivered customer value

CrossFunctional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and domain experts

  • Communicate priorities and outcomes clearly to executive stakeholders

  • Mentor other product managers and raise the bar for outcomedriven product thinking

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of revenueimpacting products

  • Proven ability to drive growth through adoption, expansion, and market differentiation

  • Experience with collaboration, document management, security, or publishing workflows

  • Familiarity with AIenabled product capabilities and platform evolution

  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder leadership skills

  • Experience in legal technology or adjacent regulated industries preferred

Salary Range (Ontario Applicants):
This position has a base salary range of $140,000 to $175,000 CAD, with additional eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus and benefits. The final offer will depend on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
