Position Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on, analytical, and collaborative Compensation Manager to help shape competitive, equitable, and well-governed compensation programs that support our business and our people.
In this role, you will lead compensation analysis, annual compensation processes, equity administration, executive compensation support, and reporting for key stakeholders across HR, Finance, Payroll, HRIS, Legal, and business leadership. You will translate complex compensation and equity information into clear insights, practical recommendations, and scalable processes that strengthen decision-making across the organization.
What You'll Do
  • Lead market pricing, job evaluation, salary structure reviews, compensation benchmarking, and internal equity analysis.
  • Manage annual compensation cycles, including merit, incentive, and compensation review processes from planning through post-cycle review.
  • Provide practical compensation guidance for offers, promotions, job changes, new roles, and organizational changes.
  • Administer and analyze equity compensation, including grants, vesting, employee equity data, reconciliations, controls, and reporting.
  • Partner across HR, Finance, Payroll, HRIS, Legal, executive leadership, and business teams to deliver accurate insights and timely decision support.
  • Support executive compensation work, including Proxy compensation data, Compensation Committee materials, Board-level reporting, and related analysis.
  • Translate complex compensation, equity, and workforce data into clear recommendations for varied audiences.
  • Maintain strong governance, documentation, confidentiality, and quality control across compensation and equity processes.
  • Coach, develop, and guide team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, service orientation, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in compensation, including market pricing, job evaluation, salary structures, benchmarking, equity administration, and HR analytics.
  • Experience supporting annual compensation cycles such as merit, incentive, and compensation review processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel experience, including pivot tables, look-up functions, complex formulas, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on HRIS experience, with Workday strongly preferred; experience with E*TRADE Equity Edge Online or another equity platform preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights, recommendations, and presentations for HR, business, executive, and Board-level audiences.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail when handling confidential compensation and equity information.
  • Experience leading, coaching, or guiding team members, projects, or cross-functional workstreams.
  • Experience with executive compensation, Proxy statement support, SEC disclosure requirements, compensation surveys, dashboards, Power BI, or a publicly traded/regulated environment is a plus.
  • Certified Equity Professional certification, or progress toward certification, is a plus.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000
Why Join PRA Group?
You will join a purpose-driven, values-based organization that is committed to performance, accountability, respect, ethics, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to influence compensation strategy and operations in a publicly traded, global organization while partnering with leaders who value data-driven decision-making, strong governance, and practical solutions.
What You'll Gain
  • A visible role with meaningful impact across Total Rewards, HR, Finance, Legal, and business leadership.
  • The opportunity to lead and improve compensation, equity, and executive compensation processes.
  • A collaborative environment where strong analysis, thoughtful recommendations, and process discipline are valued.
  • A chance to coach and develop others while building scalable, service-oriented compensation practices.

Ready to Make an Impact?
