Job description

Senior Compensation Manager (Remote)

This position can be worked remotely within US with travel to the offices as needed OR as a hybrid work model out of any of StandardAero's US facilities.

As a Senior Compensation Manager on our Total Rewards team, you will lead and manage large-scale, global compensation projects that support our rapidly evolving, newly public company. You will work closely with HR Business Partners and senior leadership to design, implement, and continuously improve compensation programs that align with our business goals, regulatory requirements, and evolving global workforce needs.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role where critical thinking, process improvement, and strong project management skills are essential.

What you'll do:

  • Design, manage, and implement global compensation programs and projects, including base pay, variable pay, and recognition programs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation strategy, pay decisions, and competitive market practices.
  • Support compensation-related activities tied to public company requirements, including proxy reporting, equity compensation, and executive pay analysis.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking using global survey data to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within compensation workflows and tools, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of compensation policies, tools, and communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, and HRIS to support seamless compensation operations.
  • Stay current on global compensation trends, regulatory updates, and best practices, and proactively apply insights to improve our programs.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, job architecture, market pricing, and global regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets; Excel proficiency required.
  • Experience with compensation tools and HR systems (e.g., Oracle, Korn Ferry Pay, Radford, Mercer, etc.)
  • Some travel as needed required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • International experience and a global mindset are highly valued.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale, complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • CCP certification a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Experience in a global company environment preferred.
  • Experience with public company compensation practices, including proxy reporting, equity programs, and executive compensation, is a strong asset.
