Job description

The Opportunity:

Are you a student looking for an exciting opportunity that is full of meaningful, diverse, and ambitious assignments working alongside industry leading professionals? As a student on the Records Management team, you will participate in a variety of projects associated with the management of records - both physical and electronic. Canadian Natural has a company culture that fosters a fun working environment, developing meaningful relationships, and continuous learning. 

  • Job location: Calgary, AB - Head Office
  • Work schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday - Friday) for full-time schedule 
  • Term length: 12 months
  • Term start: January 2027
  • Term type: Part-time & Full-time
    • January - April: Part-time
    • May - August: Full-time
    • September - December: Part-time (Part-time being a maximum of 20 hours per week.)

Key Accountabilities:

  • Index information into records and information management systems
  • Scan physical files and load electronic records
  • Participate and assist as required in project work and other activities as identified or required
  • Perform data, information and image quality assurance activities

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Currently enrolled in your 1st year or higher of Business Administration, Records and Information Management Certificate program, Information Management/Technology, Library Science or related program at an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Must be able to lift, carry and move/arrange boxes weighing up to 35 lbs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills with positive, adaptable and cooperative attitude
