Job description

About Safari Circuits

At Safari Circuits, we believe our family-like culture makes a positive impact on both our team and the quality of the products we produce. We manufacture Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) for the global electronics market, serving highly regulated medical, military, and defense industries. Founded in 1985, Safari Circuits provides world-class electronics manufacturing services and continues to invest in our people, processes, and long-term success.

Position Overview

Safari is seeking a Brand Experience & Process Intern to work alongside our Marketing, Business Development, and Branding teams as we continue strengthening how Safari tells its story—both inside and outside the organization.

This role will help us better understand, design, and communicate the Safari employee experience. From the moment someone first discovers Safari online through their first days as an employee, we want people to understand who we are, what we do, what it feels like to work here, and why Safari is a place where they can build a future.

The intern will help evaluate what exists today, identify gaps and opportunities, and assist in designing and implementing improved experiences and processes.

What You'll Work On
  • Employee Onboarding Experience — Audit the current new-hire journey and help design a more intentional, consistent experience from offer acceptance through onboarding and beyond.
  • Employer Brand & Recruiting Experience — Evaluate what prospective employees currently see when they search for Safari online and help improve how we communicate our workplace, people, opportunities, culture, and career paths.
  • Brand Ecology Audits — Review the different places people encounter the Safari brand—digital, physical, internal, recruiting, community, and customer-facing—and identify inconsistencies or opportunities for improvement.
  • Process Design & Implementation — Document existing processes, identify gaps, help develop improved workflows, and assist with putting those improvements into practice.
  • Safari Storytelling — Help answer the questions people naturally have about Safari: What do they do? What is it like to work there? Why would I want to be part of it?
  • Culture & Community — Help communicate Safari's workplace culture and our long-term commitment to our employees, communities, customers, and partners.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work with Marketing, Business Development, Branding, HR, leadership, and employees across the organization to gather information and turn ideas into practical improvements.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is curious, organized, creative, and comfortable asking questions.

The right person doesn't need to have all the answers. They should be willing to investigate how things work today, talk with people throughout the organization, identify opportunities, and help turn those findings into better experiences.

This is a hands-on role for someone interested in branding, marketing, employee experience, communications, process improvement, business operations, and organizational development.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Approximately 2–3 days per week
Hours: Approximately 3–6 hours per day
 Compensation: $22/hour

The schedule can vary based on projects, meetings, and organizational needs.

Growth & Year-End Evaluation

This internship is designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience while also giving Safari and the intern an opportunity to explore where their skills and interests could create the most value.

At the end of the year, the position will include a formal evaluation to review accomplishments, development, organizational needs, and overall fit. At that time, Safari and the intern will discuss potential next steps and whether there is an opportunity to continue or expand the role.

The Bigger Picture

Safari has been building, evolving, and serving its customers and communities for decades—and we're continuing to invest in what comes next.

This role will help us make sure the experience people have with Safari reflects the company we're becoming: a place where talented people can build careers, do meaningful work, grow their skills, and be part of something built to last.

Benefits

  • 401(k) matching
  • Health insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Promotion opportunities
  • Climate-controlled facility
