This position is located in our Austin, Texas office, however a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Role Overview:
CGI is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and collaborative leader to join our Public Sector practice as a Director, Consulting Services (DCS). In this senior role, you will:
. Drive business development by growing revenue within existing accounts and building a strong pipeline of new opportunities.
. Lead project delivery to ensure successful outcomes for state and local government clients.
. Manage and develop teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
. Engage with clients to understand their challenges and deliver innovative solutions that transform public services.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Build and maintain strong client relationships while driving business growth within assigned accounts.
. Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
. Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities across new and existing accounts.
. Lead proposal development and evolve solution offerings to meet client needs.
. Contribute to business strategy, planning, and budgeting.
. Maintain overall accountability for service delivery and engagement success.
. Manage engagement profitability and financial performance.
. Lead and develop teams, including direct reports and delivery resources.
. Ensure successful outcomes leveraging global delivery and vendor partnerships.
. Apply best practices in delivery, customer management, and leadership-including succession planning, performance reviews, and financial management
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate experience and expertise in the following areas:
. Extensive IT and Consulting Services background (15+ years minimum), including experience working with Texas government entities
. Business development, including strategic sales planning and execution
. Full accountability for service delivery and client satisfaction
. Results-driven leadership with strong knowledge of budgets, forecasting, planning, P&L management, and complex pricing models
. Strategic planning and business management
. Project delivery experience
. Client engagement and relationship management
. People leadership and team development
. Self-motivated with a proactive approach
. Strong intellectual agility-flexible, analytical, and adept at problem-solving with superior conceptual thinking
. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, across all organizational levels
. Proven ability to build and maintain business partnerships
. Sound decision-making and judgment, supported by strong analytical skills
. Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional, virtual teams
. Health and human services domain experience preferred
Proven consulting experience with a focus on IT and technology-enabled solutions.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $143,500.00 - $310,700.00.
