Job description

An established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal who is fluent in Russian and English to join our legal team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing a high-volume caseload while providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Workers' Compensation files from intake through resolution.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, insurance carriers, employers, and medical providers in both Russian and English.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, motions, hearing requests, and correspondence.
  • Obtain and organize medical records, wage records, and other supporting documentation.
  • Schedule hearings, depositions, IMEs, and client appointments.
  • Monitor case deadlines and maintain accurate case calendars.
  • Draft routine legal correspondence and settlement documents.
  • Prepare attorneys for hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Update case management software and maintain complete, organized files.
  • Provide compassionate and professional client support throughout the legal process.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of Workers' Compensation Paralegal experience.
  • Fluent in both Russian and English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation procedures and court filings.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
