The role of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner takes place within a hospital setting in Tampa, Florida, where the focus is on delivering comprehensive mental health care. • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose patients' mental health conditions, ensuring a tailored approach to their care.
• Implement and oversee medication management plans, regularly monitoring efficacy and patient progress to make necessary adjustments.
• Work closely with primary care providers and interdisciplinary team members to deliver integrated healthcare services addressing both physical and psychiatric needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during periods of heightened distress, offering timely and effective care.
• Participate in community outreach efforts and educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness of mental health issues, helping to destigmatize mental health care.
• Deliver therapeutic support through various counseling methods and psychoeducation, enhancing patients' understanding of their conditions and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring the integrity of patient information while facilitating effective care delivery.

• A Master’s degree in Nursing, specializing as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP).
• Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with psychiatric specialization.

• Prior experience working in a community health center or a similar healthcare environment is preferred.
