Candidates should possess strong experience supporting business-critical production environments and a solid understanding of enterprise storage architecture, SAN infrastructure, disaster recovery, data protection, and operational support within regulated environments. Experience working within incident, change, problem, risk, and compliance management frameworks, combined with strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills, is required.

Technical Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will possess advanced knowledge of IBM DS8000, z/OS storage environments, DFSMS, DFHSM (HSM), SMS administration, catalog management, storage groups, IDCAMS, ICKDSF, TSO, JCL, FICON architecture, and CKD/ECKD storage administration, including performance analysis, allocation strategies, and recovery procedures. Experience with Dell DLm, IBM TS7700, IBM Virtual Tape Library, SecureAgent VTL, disaster recovery validation, archival strategies, and recovery testing methodologies is required.

Additional expertise should include IBM FlashSystem, IBM Storage Scale, IBM Storage Virtualize, IBM Storage Insights, Pure Storage FlashArray, Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, HyperSwap, FlashCopy, and PPRC technologies.
