Their primary role is to offer emotional support, engage clients in conversation and activities, and assist with light daily tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping. Unlike home health aides, companion sitters do not provide medical or personal care, but their presence helps reduce loneliness and ensures the safety and well-being of those they care for.
