Companion/Caregiver Needed In Naperville, Illinois

A warm and supportive family in Naperville, Illinois is seeking a compassionate, dependable companion/caregiver to provide daily assistance to a woman in her 70's. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, is highly organized, and has experience working with seniors. The ideal candidate will become a trusted companion, helping coordinate appointments, provide transportation, and assist with daily errands while promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and daily support to the client.
  • Safely transport the client to physical therapy appointments, medical appointments, shopping, the pharmacy, and other local errands.
  • Coordinate and manage appointments, schedules, and daily activities.
  • Assist with grocery shopping, prescription pick-up, and other household errands.
  • Accompany the client on outings and provide mobility assistance as needed.
  • Offer occasional assistance for the client's adult daughter with disabilities.
  • Communicate regularly with the family regarding schedules, appointments, and any concerns.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or in a companion/caregiving role.
  • Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
  • Reliable personal vehicle.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required.

Schedule: Monday through Friday. Flexible schedule, with hours generally between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Salary: $35โ€“$45 per hour
