Gray Residential is looking to add a Community Representative- Leasing Consultant to the Crosswinds/Cumberland team!

Position Summary

The Community Representative is responsible for creating and maintaining a warm, welcoming, and engaging atmosphere throughout the community. This position serves as the front-line representative of the Gray Residential brand - ensuring that every resident, prospect, and guest feels connected, cared for, and inspired by their surroundings.

This role blends hospitality, marketing, and community engagement. The Community Representative curates the on-site environment, plans resident events, produces social content, and fosters meaningful connections both within the community and with the surrounding neighborhood.

Key Responsibilities

Community & Brand Presentation

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment throughout the leasing office, amenities, and tour paths.
  • Ensure sensory appeal - lighting, scent, music, and overall atmosphere - align with Gray Residential brand standards.
  • Prepare and maintain hospitality items such as beverages, snacks, seasonal decor, and welcome gifts.
  • Customize welcome signage and guest experiences for tours and move-ins.
  • Conduct regular walks of vacant units to confirm readiness, presentation, and move-in details.

Resident Engagement & Event Planning

  • Plan, coordinate, and host resident social events that reflect community interests and brand personality.
  • Identify and create opportunities for residents to connect (clubs, volunteer efforts, group activities).
  • Manage event logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships while ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Coordinate off-site activities and partnerships with neighborhood businesses and organizations.

Marketing & Content Creation

  • Capture and create lifestyle-focused content for social media, newsletters, and digital platforms.
  • Support community social media accounts by developing consistent, engaging posts aligned with the Gray Residential voice.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on outreach efforts, storytelling campaigns, and brand initiatives.
  • Represent the community at local events or outreach opportunities to promote awareness and engagement.

Hospitality & Experience

  • Serve as the daily brand ambassador for residents, guests, and prospects.
  • Deliver exceptional service through personal engagement, attentiveness, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Support the leasing and management team by enhancing the tour experience and ensuring consistent brand representation.
  • Continuously look for ways to elevate community culture and strengthen resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of apartment leasing experience.
