Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth assessments to understand each student’s presenting issues, background, and personal treatment goals.
• Providing individual and family therapy using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborating regularly with school personnel, parents, and other stakeholders to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines and legal requirements governing clinical practice.
• Staying engaged with ongoing professional development to remain current with emerging best practices and relevant clinical innovations.
• Fostering trusting therapeutic relationships that facilitate emotional growth and healing in clients.
• Providing support and practical strategies to help students and families navigate academic and life challenges.

The ideal candidate will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families, assisting them with a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment difficulties. You will also engage with educators and staff to create an inclusive and supportive environment for these students.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, ideally with specific experience in educational contexts.
• Strong clinical skills, including effective assessment, treatment planning, and intervention implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong emphasis on empathy and understanding.
