About the Opportunity

Under the direct supervision of the Manager Clinical Services, the Pharmacist will participate in the provision of direct pharmaceutical care to inpatients/outpatients as a member of the interdisciplinary care team. Duties include patient counseling, medication monitoring, student mentoring, drug utilization reviews, liaison with Community Pharmacists and education/drug information. The Pharmacist participates in any clinical pharmacy research in which the Clinical Division Manager is involved.

About You

We want to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Graduate of a recognized school of Pharmacy
  • Registration or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator required 
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Compensation and Benefits

$49.42 - $63.29 Hourly

Successful candidates may also be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan

Hours

Various permanent, assignments (temporary), casual relief (no guarantee of hours), and opportunities available in various locations throughout Nova Scotia.
Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
You will be given the opportunity to specify your work hours and location preferences in the application.
